Lindsey is a Board Certified Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, licensed by the Georgia State Board. She is a former Certified Nutrition Support Clinician® (CNSC®) Issued by National Board of Nutrition Support Certification.
Lindsey has a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Business Administration from University of Georgia, and a Master's degree in Nutrition from Georgia State University. She has been practicing as an RD and providing evidence-based nutrition counseling since 2012. Most recently, Lindsey worked for 5 years at Emory University Hospital providing medical nutrition therapy for patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Inspired by her own health journey, Lindsey decided to become an RD after 10 years of struggling to manage her Crohn’s disease with medication alone. She found that nutrition played a major role in disease management.
Optimizing nutrition was also fundamental in her overcoming eight years of fertility issues and treatments. She is now the proud mama of three young girls.
She believes staying active is an important part in disease management and overall health. While competing in triathlons, she found a love for sports nutrition.
